Boren and Cole stand against Cherokee Nation amendment to the NAHASDA bill

Oklahoma Congressmen Tom Cole and Dan Boren testify against an amendment that could eliminate housing programs for the Cherokee Nation.  The amendment is a continued effort by members of the Congressional Black Caucus to cut federal funding to the Cherokee Nation.  Why?  For the Cherokee Nation practicing it’s fundamental right, sovereignty.  To read what they have to say, click here.
